Our Cosmetology Program

about the program

Our cosmetology program is designed to train students in the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to obtain licensure and for competency in entry-level positions in cosmetology or a related career field.

Virginia Board Certified for

Barbers and Cosmetology

Our program meets the minimum requirement by the State of Virginia. The Virginia Board for Barbers and Cosmetology has approved the school and its curriculum. Our program consists of three phases. Phase I: involves the initial basic training, Phase II: is a transition phase in which the students grow their skills through building on the basics, and Phase III: is focused on preparing students becoming self-sufficient.

Nail Care

Students practice technical skills, gain hands-on experience and participate in clinical experiences.
During clinical, students will schedule appointments with clients, sanitize equipment, perform
applications and keep records.

The length of the program is 9 months for full-time and 18 months for part-time.
